Vucic: Serbia Prepares To Repel Invasion By Three Neighboring Countries

Belgrade believes that its neighbors sleep and see how to jointly attack Serbia.

Serbia is preparing for an alleged possible attack by an alliance of Croatia, Albania and Kosovo. This was announced by the country's president, Alexandar Vucic, on Serbian television said.

- We are preparing for their attack. They are waiting for a moment in the future when a bigger conflict between Europeans and Russians will break out, and an even bigger one in the Middle East. That is their intention, they are waiting for a favorable moment when there will be general chaos in the world," he said.

Vucic noted that Serbia itself cannot preemptively attack Albania and Croatia because they are NATO members. He said Serbian residents need not worry about the threat because the Serbian state "has enough deterrent power" to prevent a foreign invasion.

- You can sleep easy, Serbian citizens can sleep easy. Serbia is strong enough to preserve its territorial integrity, sovereignty, freedom and security of its citizens. They will not attack us not because they don't want to, but because they know what the response will be," he said.
