A New Drone "Bucha" Has Been Presented In Ukraine

Ukraine has developed a new strike drone called "Bucha". Its peculiarity lies in the method of launch: the drone will be launched not with the help of pneumatics, but using a gunpowder charge from the guides. This is reported by the publication "Militar".

The development is being carried out by the company Uforce. Now the new device is undergoing flight tests and was presented at the Arsenal of Talents fair. It is assumed that such drones can be launched in groups, and each of them will be controlled by a separate operator.

The maximum combat load of the drone is up to 5.5 kg of explosives, and the range of flight - up to 200 kilometers. At the same time, a simpler version of "Bucha" is already used on the front - with a warhead of about 3.5 kg and a range of up to 120 kilometers.

The drone is planned to be controlled through various communication channels, including Starlink. In addition, the use of mesh-network is considered for the system: one of the drones will be able to act as a repeater, having an additional battery and mesh-modem.

The approximate cost of one such device is 10-12 thousand dollars. Uforce is also known for the development of MAGURA and Mikola-3 marine drones, Nemesis drone, Lyut robotic systems and Hyzhak turrets.
