Belarusians in Poland can help an independent site.

Olympic medalist and famous Belarusian athlete Alexandra Gerasimenya in her post on Facebook reminded that in Poland, when filing a PIT tax return, you can direct 1.5% of the tax paid to charity.

She said that this year she again supported the Belarusian website Charter97.org. To do this, as Gerasimenya noted, is quite simple.

When filling out the PIT declaration, you need to specify the number 0000507234 - this is the KRS of the organization FaniMani, through which support for Charter97.org is transferred. In the column Cel szczegółowy do przekazania 1.5% podatku it is necessary to enter the number 107906 - this is the identifier of Charter'97 in the FaniMani system.

Gerasimenia appealed to Belarusians who live and work in Poland and have not yet filed a tax return. She emphasized that this is a simple opportunity to help people in Belarus to get independent and truthful information.

At the same time, as the sportswoman noted, a person spends nothing: a part of the already paid income tax goes to help the editorial office.

"Your support is invaluable," wrote Alexandra Gerasimenya.
