What's wrong with the Belarusian-Russian "allied" airplane.

The project of the Belarusian-Russian light aircraft "Osvei", which is being created with "Ural Civil Aviation Plant", is actually frozen.

The author and host of the program "Optimum" on the channel "Belarusians and Market" Andrei Makhovsky in his comment "Belsat" called it quite natural that "Osvey" is not given easily:

"This is not the only project for this Ural plant, there are two more similar projects: airplanes "Baikal" and "Ladoga". "Ladoga" was supposed to be released at the end of last year, but it was never released. Something completely incomprehensible is going on with Baikal. "Osvey" was developed on the basis of these two airplanes. That is, we took the projects that were not finalized, and on the basis of these two projects decided to create our own".

Correspondingly, the expert concludes, there is nothing surprising in the fact that the production schedule is shifting. And he called the fact that the Russians have issued a new invoice "just an anecdotal story":

"It was exactly the same story with the Baikal airplane. It was initially supposed to cost 120 million Russian rubles. Now we are talking about the price being, I think, 480 million rubles, something like that. There is a colossal increase there."

Makhovski said that the problem with this joint project of Belarus and Russia is that the parties tried not to build something, but to use the budget money.
