The supply of Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhya direction was disrupted.

Guerrillas sabotaged a railway junction near Simferopol and destroyed a diesel locomotive that was supplying Russian units in the Zaporozhye direction, the locomotive cannot be quickly restored, Atesh reported.

The operation was carried out on the night of March 18, on the eve of what Moscow calls Crimea's "Reunification Day."

The damaged junction was supposed to be used by another shipment of ammunition, spare parts and consumables for the Russian army.

As a result of the sabotage, supplies were blocked and the occupier's units were deprived of planned resupply.

The railroad lines in Crimea remain key for supplying Russian troops on the southern front. The Zaporozhye direction is now one of the most tense areas of the fighting. The loss of a diesel locomotive and the temporary suspension of transportation create additional difficulties for Russian troops, reducing their ability to maintain active operations on the front line.
