On the night of March 18, Iranian militants launched a massive rocket attack on Israel. A married couple was killed in the town of Ramat Gan, and there were also casualties.

The aftermath of the missile strikes
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out a massive missile attack on central Israel. Tehran said the operation was in retaliation for the elimination of Larijani, who was considered one of the Iranian regime's most powerful politicians.
According to Israeli emergency services and police, the main impact of the strike was in the densely populated center of the country. In Ramat Gan, an elderly couple was killed by a direct hit before reaching a shelter.
Civilian injuries were reported at various points in the central district. In particular, two shrapnel casualties were reported in the Tel Aviv train station area. Several others sustained minor injuries in Bnei Brak and Kafr Qasem.
Significant damage was caused to the Savidor-Merkaz train station in Tel Aviv. Platforms and adjacent tracks were damaged by shrapnel. Car fires were also reported in Holon due to downed power lines.
