Plans to raise pensions have sparked outrage and questions.
March 15, it became known that the authorities are going to amend Law № 322-Z "On Professional Pension Insurance" and Law № 118-Z "On Contributions to the budget of the state extra-budgetary fund of social protection of the population of the Republic of Belarus" and revise "approaches to the establishment of pension increases for certain categories of participants of the Chernobyl accident liquidation". Subscribers of the Charter97.org account in TikTok write that they do not believe in the promised improvements. Also, many ask why other categories of pensioners were not included in the list.
Some comments:
- Not everyone 10% added.
- I don't believe it.
- What about agricultural workers?
- The bosses are getting 10 percent, but the workers are getting 8 percent.
- The pension is going up 10 percent: count it correctly. Additions are not included in the percentages, if the pension was initially set at 700 rubles, then the percentages will be calculated from this amount.
- And when will additions be given to veterans of labor?
- Those real liquidators who were actually there, like my husband. They are long gone.
- I am a liquidator, Article 19, plus 65 rubles to my pension, and before there were benefits and an additional vacation of two weeks paid, light, gas, travel, and now?
- My husband has been dead for 10 years, those who were really liquidators, there are few left.
- Also, as they promised to raise all types of pensions in February by 10%, but I was raised by exactly 1%.
- And why are we not considered? Veterans of Labor, who have 35 and more years of service, why do not they make any additional payment?
