The lights and water disappeared there.
In the evening on Wednesday, March 18, near Novovolynsk, the Russians hit an energy facility. De-energization and water outages were recorded.
This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the statement of the city mayor Boris Karpus and the message of the head of Volyn Regional State Administration Roman Romaniuk.
"Preliminarily there is a hit in the energy facility near Novovolynsk. In part of the community there is no light. There are also interruptions in water supply," his statement said.
According to Karpus, the Russians attacked a power facility near the Novovolynsk community. He noted that the damage is very serious and a fire broke out at the facility.
"The relevant services are working at the site of the hit. Power engineers will start work as soon as possible. Right now there may be interruptions in water supply. We start generators," he noted.
The mayor added that part of the boiler houses will work at a minimum level. In addition, indestructibility points are being deployed - the addresses will be communicated to local residents later.
Romaniuk said that the Russians struck with a drone of the Shahed type. As of now, more than 30 thousand subscribers in one of the districts of the region remain without power supply.
