"Pantsir" Did Not Work: Drones Attacked Russian Military Facilities In Crimea

A heavy blow was struck against a Russian anti-aircraft missile regiment.

On the night of March 19, explosions were heard in occupied Crimea: the peninsula was massively attacked by drones. The network reports about the attack on the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Russians and possible defeat of other military facilities.

Drones attacked in particular occupied Sevastopol, Cape Fiolent, where powerful explosions were heard. This was reported by guerrillas of the movement "ATESH" in their Telegram channel.

"A powerful explosion on Fiolent in Sevastopol ... Probably a 'flight' on the 475 REB center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet," the guerrillas said in a report.

Although there is no official confirmation of the attack on the facility at the time of publication, another OSINT channel "Crimean Wind" also writes about a drone raid on occupied Crimea. According to analysts, many military targets are stationed near Cape Fiolent, including a division of the 12th missile regiment, a REB regiment, a radio-technical reconnaissance unit and a radar company.

It is noteworthy that Russian air defenses did not go off during the drone attack, despite the massive drone raid. Eyewitnesses say that the Pantsir air defense system was allegedly destroyed in the previous attack. But the Russians this time had to use machine guns to shoot down targets in the sky.

The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, confirmed the attack on occupied Crimea. According to his data, at least 27 drones were allegedly shot down over the region as a whole.

The occupation governor said that grass and one of the industrial buildings in the Cape Fiolent area allegedly caught fire as a result of the attack. Also a number of consequences were recorded in different districts of Sevastopol.

Information about drone strikes on Russian military facilities in Crimea is being clarified. The Ukrainian military did not comment on the attacks at the time of publication.
