Three U.S. servicemen were killed in action.
U.S. President Donald Trump said three American servicemen were killed during the military operation "Epic Fury" against Iran, and warned that the number of casualties could rise before the fighting is over.
This was stated in Trump's address on the military operation, writes "European Truth".
The day before, U.S. military commanders said three service members had been killed in the battle.
"We pray for the full recovery of the wounded and express our great love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen. Sadly, there will probably be more to come. Until this is over, there will be. There will probably be more, but we will do everything we can to make sure that doesn't happen," the American president commented.
He said the US will avenge their deaths and deal "the harshest blow possible to the terrorists who started a war against civilization."
