IDF Eliminated Hezbollah's Intelligence Chief In Beirut

The head of Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters has been killed in an Israeli attack, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The IDF confirms that a pinpoint strike in Beirut last night killed terrorist Hussein Makled, who served as Hezbollah's intelligence chief of staff, the Israeli army said.

Israel overnight began strikes in Beirut and southern Lebanon in response to Hezbollah's shelling, which the group called revenge for the death of Iran's supreme leader in strikes carried out by Israel and the United States.

The Lebanese government has since banned Hezbollah's military activities and called the shelling of Israel illegal.
