Mansoureh Hojasteh died after being wounded in US and Israeli strikes.

Mansoureh Hojasteh, widow of Iran's late leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died of her injuries following attacks by Israel and the United States. This is reported by Iranian state media, writes Reuters.

It is noted that Mansoureh Hojasteh fell into a coma and died from her injuries. The late couple had six children - four sons and two daughters.

It is known that Mansoureh Hojasteh was born in 1947 in a Persian religious family in Mashhad. Her father was the famous businessman Mohammad Esmail Hojasteh Bagherzadeh.

Mansoureh first met Ali Khamenei in a private ceremony in 1964. They married the following year.
