Qatar Air Force Eliminates Two Iranian Su-24 Bombers Produced By Russian Federation

The Qatar Air Force also intercepted seven missiles and five drones.
Qatar's Defense Ministry reported the elimination of two Su-24 warplanes, which were provided to Iran by Russia.
The official announcement on March 2 was published on the defense ministry's official X-account.
"The Qatari Air Force was able to shoot down two Su-24 aircraft coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran," the Defense Ministry said in a publication.
In addition, as part of the same operation, Qatar's air defense intercepted seven ballistic missiles and five drones.
"All missiles were shot down before they reached their targets," the ministry stressed.
It was noted that the threat was neutralized immediately after detection. Qatar managed to avoid losses and damage.
"The Su-24s intercepted by Qatar were probably obtained by Iran from Russia in the 1990s.
