Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has confirmed that his country has joined negotiations with France to extend its "nuclear umbrella" to Poland. He published the comment in his X.

Tusk wrote that Poland is in talks with France and a group of "closest European allies" on a program of advanced nuclear deterrence.

"We are arming ourselves together with our friends so that our enemies will never dare to attack us," Poland's prime minister said.
