Russian infantrymen tried to advance under the cover of rain.

Soldiers of the Third Operational Brigade of the National Guard "Spartan" together with related units repulsed the assault of the Russian Armed Forces in Pokrovskoye direction, which they tried to carry out under the cover of rain.

For 48 hours Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy an entire company of Russians, reported on the "Spartan" page on Telegram.

"The Russian occupation command threw significant forces into the assault on the Pokrovsky direction. The occupants were hoping to take advantage of the rainy weather," the caption to the video reads.

"Spartan" noted that Russian infantrymen tried to advance deep into the area on cars, motorized vehicles and ATVs.

"However, "Spartan" together with related units stopped the enemy's advance. For 48 hours, the enemy suffered significant losses," the unit said.

The unit said that over two days the Russian Armed Forces lost:

120 attack aircraft;

7 ATVs;

4 motorcycles;

3 vehicles.
