Today, on March 19, the occupation army of the Russian Federation tried to break through the front in the Limanskiy direction. The grouping was defeated together with the equipment. This was reported in X by a Ukrainian military officer known under the nickname Kriegsforscher.
The occupation army of the Russian Federation threw very serious forces to break through the Liman direction. However, the assault was smothered largely due to the fact that the AFU controlled the battlefield with the help of drones.
"Today the Russians attacked near Liman. With the help of drones Ukrainian infantrymen destroyed 2 tanks, 5 BPTs (BTR-82AT and BTR-70M), 5 BMP-3s, 2 BMP-2s and more than 40 ATVs... A real massacre," Kriegsforscher told Kriegsforscher.
He specified that a large number of enemy vehicles blew up on mines that were set remotely with the help of the same UAVs.
"We knew that they were planning an attack. Everyone was ready," the military officer noted.
He specified that two days before the Russians also tried to break through in the Pokrovsky direction with significant forces. It was unsuccessful. The 6th tank regiment of the Russian Armed Forces took part in the offensive. During only one of the attacks, the enemy lost 3 BMP-2s, a tank and about 10 ATVs. The Russians also attacked at other villages near Pokrovskoye, all attacks were repulsed. "Spring aggravation?" - Kriegsforscher wondered.
Another military "Bakhmut Demon" suggested that the Russians were trying to "probe" the Ukrainian defenses before a big offensive. "They will probe the defense everywhere they can. They are trying to find weaknesses to strike with the appearance of the "green." They will not find," assured the serviceman.
Provocative Telegram channel Ukraine context believes that such activity of the occupier is the beginning of the spring-summer offensive. "Today the Russian spring-summer offensive has actually started near Liman. The result is no better than on the section Rodninskoye - Gulyaypol... Hundreds of 'two-hundred' and 'three-hundred'," the resource wrote.
March 17, the Russians, taking advantage of the fog, really tried to make a breakthrough near Rodninskoye - Gulyaypol. Some occupants were advancing on horseback. The AFU's unmanned systems forces defeated this assault while it was still in progress, the number of AFU casualties amounted to hundreds of people. It is obvious that the Ukrainian Defense Forces, thanks to drones, are in full control of the front line.
