Another tanker is still on its way to a Cuban port.

A Sea Horse tanker carrying Russian diesel fuel that was bound for Cuba changed its destination to Trinidad and Tobago after a U.S. remark, Bloomberg reports.

Specifically, the tanker changed its destination after the U.S. clarified that the island was not authorized to accept Russian fuel.

According to vessel tracking data collected by Bloomberg and maritime intelligence company Kpler Ltd, it was a tanker carrying 200,000 barrels of Russian diesel fuel.

When asked whether the Russian oil was headed specifically for Cuba, Russian officials declined to answer.

Another tanker, the Anatoly Kolodkin, is still headed across the Atlantic Ocean to the port of Matanzas in Cuba.

The U.S. Treasury Department has added Cuba to a list of countries banned from receiving Russian oil. Specifically, the license prohibits transactions related to the sale, delivery or unloading of crude oil or petroleum products originating in Russia.
