Military Plants Burn In Togliatti After Drone Attack

On the night of March 21, drones attacked strategic facilities in Russia's Samara region. According to preliminary information, "Togliattikauchuk" and "KuibyshevAzot" in Togliatti could have fallen under attack, Dialog.UA writes after analyzing information from social networks and messengers.

The air alert in the Saratov region was announced after midnight. It became known at about 02:37 that the region's strategic facilities were under air attack. Residents of Togliatti reported numerous explosions and fires in the city.

It is confirmed that the fires were recorded near the plants "Togliattikauchuk" and "KuibyshevAzot". The video is published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

The governor of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedoroshchev, did not comment on the situation in the region at the time of writing. The central Russian authorities have also remained completely silent. Only the Russian Defense Ministry's summary says that on the night of March 21, Russian air defense over the territory of the Samara region allegedly shot down Ukrainian UAVs, but does not specify how many specifically.

In total, on the night of March 21, Russian air defense in the skies above Russia allegedly shot down 283 Ukrainian UAVs of the aircraft type.

The products of the above-mentioned enterprises are used by the Russian military-industrial complex, so they are a legitimate target for the AFU.

"Togliattikauchuk" produces synthetic rubber and various chemical components. "KuibyshevAzot" produces caprolactam, polyamides, nitrogen fertilizers, etc.

Night Ukrainian drones struck military and strategic facilities in different regions of Russia, not only in the Samara region. For example, an oil refinery in the Saratov region, which supplies fuel and lubricants to the Russian army, was hit.
