The first Belarusian strawberries appeared in the capital's Komarovski market. This is reported by the agency "Minsk-Novosti". We saw how much it costs and what the sellers promise.
According to the publication, a kilogram of strawberries at the market asks from 19.9 to 40 rubles.
-The taste compensates for all expectations, - "Minsk-Novosti" quoted the seller. - The variety is sweet and fragrant.
Find other fresh fruits and vegetables on the stalls. How much do they cost? For example, cucumbers and sweet peppers - from 6.9 and 7.9 rubles to 12 and 18 rubles, respectively. All this is per kilogram. Prices for zucchini start from 7.5 rubles, for eggplants - from 7.9. Young potatoes, carrots and beets - from Br0.99. Belarusian cabbage - from Br1.2, imported - from 3.9. Onions - from Br1.99 to Br3, salad onions - from Br1.59.
From fruits, buyers are offered bananas. Their price per kilogram starts from two rubles. The minimum cost of apples - 2.5, pears - 4.9. Seasonal citrus fruits - oranges are available for 3.9 rubles, lemons - 6.9 rubles, and tangerines - five rubles.
Prices for greens are logically lower. Parsley, dill and sorrel are kept at the level of one and a half rubles per 100 grams, spinach - two rubles, rucola - 2.5, but basil is more expensive - six rubles.
The first in the season ramson is also on sale. For a bundle, depending on the size, asking from two to five rubles.
- Turmeric - a real spring delicacy - said the seller. - It is not only fragrant, but also very useful: it strengthens immunity, helps the liver and improves digestion. Choose bunches with dark green leaves and no yellow tips, because such longer stored and stronger smell. Many customers like to add it to salads, sauces or soups, and someone makes a traditional spring butter with ramson: chopped leaves, mixed with salt and butter. In our country, ramsons are sold very quickly: those who have time to buy them take several bunches at once, so that they have enough for a week.
