Four Regions Of Belarus Raised Prices For Public Transport Fares

The changes came into effect today.

Fees for public transport will increase in Brest, Vitsebsk, Homel and Minsk voblasts. The corresponding decisions of local executive committees appeared on the National Legal Internet Portal on March 24 and come into force after the official publication, writes "Mirror".

One trip in public transport in Minsk voblast went up by 15 kopecks to Br1.05. The maximum maximum fares for express routes have been raised to Br1.15. Such a decision was taken by Minsk voblast executive committee on March 16.

Tariffs for suburban transportation in regular communication on regular routes will be 14 kopeks per kilometer, on express routes and additional flights - 16 kopeks; on express routes - 17 kopeks.

The cost of travel tickets has also increased. In cities with population up to 50 thousand people a monthly pass will cost 40.16 rubles, a ten-day pass - 14.08 rubles. In cities with a population of 50-250 thousand people - Br46 (for a monthly pass) and Br16.18 (for a ten-day pass).

In Vitebsk region, the cost of public transport fare was raised to Br1.05 per trip on regular and express routes, and up to Br1.15 - on express routes.

For suburban transportation the maximum tariffs were raised to 14 kopecks per kilometer in regular service, to 16 kopecks - on high-speed routes, as well as additional flights and to 17 kopecks on express routes.

In Gomel region, the fixed tariff for urban transportation of passengers by buses on regular and express routes in regular communication, as well as by trolleybuses was set at 1.05 rubles per trip.

The maximum maximum tariff on express routes in regular traffic was raised to 1.15 rubles per trip.
