Two maternity hospitals were damaged and there were fatalities.

Russian occupiers today, March 24, attacked the center of Ivano-Frankivsk with drones. Two maternity hospitals were damaged due to the strike.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of Ivano-Frankivsk OVA Svetlana Onishchuk in Telegram and the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Marcinkiv in Telegram.

According to Onishchuk, as a result of the Russian strike on the city center, two people were killed and four more were injured. Among the injured is a 6-year-old child. All the injured are being provided with the necessary assistance.

In turn, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv said that among the dead was a national guard whose wife gave birth a few days ago.

"The buildings of the city and regional maternity hospitals were damaged, as well as about 10 residential buildings," the OVA head said.

Onishchuk pointed out that all relevant services are working at the scene.

The official urged the region's residents not to ignore the air alert signals and to stay in shelters or other safe places until bedtime.
