The U.S. president also reported a mysterious gift from Tehran.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President J.D. Vance are involved in talks with Iran on the U.S. side, President Donald Trump said.
The talks are being held with the "right people" in Iran, Trump said, without specifying who exactly he was referring to.
Trump said Iran had agreed to the demand that it would "never" have nuclear weapons.
In addition, the US president said the Islamic Republic had given the states a "great and amazing gift" that was worth "a tremendous amount of money."
"That gift arrived today. <...> It had to do with oil and gas, and it was a very nice gesture on their part. It showed me that we are dealing with the right people," he explained.
Trump added that the US has succeeded in bringing about a change of power in Iran as the country now has "very different" leaders. The White House host also said that the states have already won the war.
