The Estonian government will convene an emergency meeting following an incident in which a drone that flew in from Russian territory damaged a power plant pipe in Auvere.

Estonian broadcaster ERR reported.

Justice Minister Liisa-Li Pakosta said Wednesday morning that the government will meet for an emergency session on Wednesday "due to a security incident."

According to Enefit Power's initial assessment, there is no direct damage to the power plant and the incident will not have a significant impact on the Estonian power grid.

The Estonian broadcaster also published photos of the damaged pipe. It can be seen that the damage is minimal.

A drone that went off course on Wednesday night reportedly crashed into the chimney of a power plant in Auvere in Estonia.
