Today Belarusians celebrate the Day of Will. MEPs hung a huge white-red-white flag as a sign of solidarity with Belarus. The action was held on the initiative of the head of the European Parliament delegation on relations with Belarus Małgorzata Gosiewska.

"Today is the Day of Will of Belarus - a holiday not recognized by the Lukashenko regime, reminding that Belarus is an independent and sovereign state, and Belarusians demand freedom. Symbolically, today is also the 5th anniversary of the imprisonment of our indomitable compatriot Andrzej Poczobut.

The Lukashenko regime is afraid of freedom, afraid of free people. That is why he is trying to strangle it - by falsifying history, fighting against memory and persecuting those from whom he cannot take away freedom, those who have the courage to speak the truth. But this is a fight he cannot win. Millions of people deep in their hearts in Belarus, millions of people in Poland, and also today in the European Parliament say: #LiveBelarus! #FreedomPoczobutu!"," MEP and former head of the Interior Ministry of Poland Mariusz Kaminski wrote in X.
