Netanyahu: Iran Tried To Assassinate Trump Twice

The Iranian regime has eliminated more Americans than any other force in decades.
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that Iran has twice tried to eliminate US President Donald Trump. And now these attempts are continuing.
According to NewsMax.
In the course of the conversation, Netanyahu suggested remembering what Iran was like before the war began.
"Look, if you remember what happened before the war, Iran was the main bully in the Middle East and in the world. It was a major sponsor of state terrorism on many continents, including the Western Hemisphere, including, by the way, along with Venezuela and others," the prime minister emphasized.
He says the Iranians have killed and maimed more Americans than any other power in recent decades. That includes Iran trying to eliminate Trump.
"Thousands and thousands have been killed and maimed in Afghanistan by Iranian IEDs. They've bombed your embassies. They tried to kill President Trump twice. They're still trying to kill him. And most importantly, they are chanting 'death to America'," he summarized.
Not long ago, US President Donald Trump also publicly said that Iran tried to kill him several times, but all attempts were in vain.
"I killed him (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei - ed.) before he killed me. They (Iran - ed.) tried twice. Well, I killed him first," Trump said in a conversation with an ABC reporter.
Also in the summer of 2025, The Washington Post published a story that said that Iranian agents were preparing an assassination attempt on Trump during his election campaign. For this reason, the politician's security was forced into "martial law" mode, and defense was soon stepped up.
