They got it in Novorossiysk, too.
A drone attack on a port in Novorossiysk has damaged the Russian frigate Admiral Essen. This is not the first attack on this ship.
This was reported by "CyberBoroshno" on Telegram.
OSINT analysts claim that the attack damaged the frigate's middle superstructure.
They say that PK-10 grenade launchers designed for passive jamming detonated as a result of hitting the frigate's superstructure.
In addition to mechanical damage, the ship suffered damage to electronic systems:
The TK-25 REB complex, which is responsible for radiation detection and active jamming;
MR-90 Walnut radars, which provide targeting of anti-aircraft missiles;
Fregat-M2M surveillance radar, which is responsible for long-range detection of air and surface objects.
According to OSINT-analysts, apart from the frigate, the Project 1241 Molniya missile boat was hit.
The UAVs hit the aft part of the vessel, where the main engines, diesel generators and engine room are located, which ensure the operation of the boat's propulsion system.
Also in the aft part there are two 30-mm AK-630M artillery guns, responsible for the close-in defense of the boat, and diesel generators, which provide power supply to the ship's systems.
Reminder, Ukrainian soldiers have already struck the Russian frigate "Admiral Essen" when it was based in Sevastopol. For this purpose, Ukrainian warriors used the new Long Neptune missile for the first time.
The speaker of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk noted in February that the Russians use the Admiral Essen for missile strikes against Ukraine because such a ship can carry Kalibras.
