A timeline has been named.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has already given instructions to train and send Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to help the US confront Iran's Shaheds. It is also known when they will go.

It is reported by Reuters.

It is known that the US has turned to Ukraine for help to protect its bases and military in certain countries in the Middle East - it was about fighting Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones.

The global community knows that the Ukrainians have a track record of success against the Shaheds over four years of warfare and Zelensky has not turned down Washington's help. He said Thursday that Kiev would send its specialists to assist the U.S. military.

"We have received a request from the United States for specific support in defense against the Shaheds in the Middle East region.... I gave instructions to provide the necessary means and ensure the presence of Ukrainian specialists who can guarantee the necessary level of security," the publication recalls the president's statement.

According to a source familiar with the matter, Ukrainian specialists will begin work "within the next few days."

It is also known that US President Donald Trump commented on Zelensky's offer of support in operations against Iranian drones. In a telephone interview with Reuters on Thursday, he said that "the states would accept help from any country."

The publication also recalls that on Tuesday Zelensky said he was willing to swap drone interceptors for anti-aircraft missiles from allies in the Middle East who have their own stockpiles of Patriot systems.
