US President Donald Trump has announced that one of his most visible longtime supporters, conservative blogger Tucker Carlson, is no longer part of the MAGA ("Make America Great Again") movement. The reason was to criticize U.S. strikes on Iran. Carlson called the military operation "absolutely disgusting and atrocious" and suggested it would "fundamentally change the balance of power," according to ABC News.

"This is Israel's war. This is not the United States' war," he said.

Donald Trump said the interviewer "lost his way" and his take on what's going on contradicts the idea of MAGA.

"I've known this for a long time, and he's not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is 'America First' and Tucker has nothing to do with that. And Tucker really isn't smart enough to realize that," the American leader said in a conversation with ABC News.

Sam Carlson reacted with restraint, noting that he will "always love" Trump regardless of the president's remarks about himself.
