Belarusian Woman To Russians: Turn Off The "big Brother" Mode

Rules for tourists from the Russian Federation.

The Belarusian woman recorded a video message in which she outlined three simple rules for Russians who want to come to our country and published:

"Never in Belarus do this if you're going to move, otherwise you'll be shanghaied right at the airport or on the train.

First. Forget about "Belarus." For Belarusians it sounds like a foam rubber on the glass. And this is not about grammar, the Soviet past or anything else.

It's about respect for the people. Belarus. That's the only way and no other way.

Second. Please turn off the big brother mode. All these phrases "You are nothing without us" and "You are called nothing" are a direct road to heath. Yes, Belarus is a small country, but it doesn't mean that we don't have our own history, our own opinion and our own way. So if you're not ready to leave your imperial trappings behind, please stay at home.

Third. If you are used to throwing garbage past the trash can or parking on the lawns, Belarusians will eat you up. Not the police, but ordinary passers-by. Because order for us is a social contract. We dislike and hate those who violate it. Both our own and strangers.

Remember. Belarus is not Russia Lite. It is a separate country with its own culture, its own traditions and its own history. Respect it and you will see how responsive, open and hospitable Belarusians are."

The post has collected more than 1500 comments in two days. The majority of Belarusians supported their compatriot, but Russians, it seems, have not learned to respect other people's opinion yet.
