The head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov commented on the likelihood of a meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in a joint interview with Ukrinform and Novini.LIVE correspondents published on April 10.

Budanov expressed his opinion about the leaders' meeting after being asked whether there is a chance for the resumption of peace talks in the trilateral format (Ukraine, the United States, and Russia) and how big this chance is.

"You understand that we cannot put a point - neither positive nor negative - without a personal meeting [of the countries' leaders], and the Russians understand this too. Believe me, it will all happen anyway," the OP head assured.

When asked whether he was referring to Zelensky's meeting with Putin, Budanov replied, "The leaders should put the last point at all. Let's hope so."
