In the Polish village of Duchnów, a local resident found an unknown object in the woods that looked like a weather balloon. This is reported by RMF FM.

Police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area and conducted an inspection with the participation of pyrotechnics. The inspection revealed that the found object does not pose a danger to others.

According to preliminary information, it could be a weather balloon, which was used to smuggle cigarettes from Belarus. However, during the inspection, neither the cigarettes themselves, nor a GPS tracker, nor a SIM-card, which are usually used in such schemes, were found nearby.
