Sky News: Iran Talks With US Break Down Over Two Or Three Important Issues

Peace talks between Iran and the United States broke down because of "disagreements on two or three important issues." The Iranian Foreign Ministry said this, writes Sky News.

"In the end, the talks did not lead to an agreement," spokesman Esmail Baghaei told Iranian state television.

He did not specify what those issues were.

Baghaei said U.S. and Iranian negotiators "actually reached an understanding on some issues."

The spokesman said they discussed the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, though he did not specify whether they discussed nuclear weapons.
