He said the shredders in the agencies are operating at full capacity.
Future Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar said that while the current Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó has not disappeared anywhere, but is now in Budapest and is busy destroying important documents on sanctions against Russia.
He said this at a press conference for international media, according to "European Truth".
Magyar recalled during his speech that Szijjártó's absence alongside Viktor Orbán had sparked speculation that he had left the country. But according to the election winner, Peter Szijjarto is at the Foreign Ministry, where he arrived at 10 a.m. with his colleague Ester Gyarmati, with whom he has been "destroying sanctions documents" ever since.
"We know that his people are destroying documents just like in the old communist days. The shredders are working at full capacity not only in the ministries but also in other institutions. But that won't help them," Magyar said.
"We don't know much, there are many international treaties and secret government decisions that we know nothing about," he continued.
Madyar said Viktor Orbán took out loans on unknown terms, which the party winning the election also knows nothing about. Therefore, its main task will be to get all the documents.
