Russians are extremely dissatisfied.
Former participant of the reality show "House-2" and popular blogger Victoria Bonya, who lives in Monaco, recorded an 18-minute video message to Vladimir Putin "on behalf of the people", which she published on her Instagram (12.9 million followers). In it, she said Russians are afraid of the government and Putin "doesn't know a lot" about the real state of affairs in the country, and warned of a riot brewing.
The blogger said Putin is not being told the truth, so he is unaware of five key problems: The flooding in Dagestan, where victims have not received help for a long time (and officials who arrived were given a carpet so they wouldn't get their feet dirty); fuel oil pollution on the coast in Anapa, which has yet to be cleaned up; possible changes to legislation that would allow hunting animals from the Red Book; the mass killing of livestock in the Novosibirsk region (which Boni believes big producers are behind); and the blocking of social networks and messengers, which has hit small businesses, among others. "People are screaming all over the place right now. They have been robbed of the last of their money and continue to be robbed. Business is dying," she said, adding that one of the most popular queries now is "how to leave Russia." The blogger pointed out that Russian authorities are "compressing Russians into a spring" and warned, "one day this spring will go off."

Bonya also called attention to soaring prices, the prosecution of blogger Lerchek and her ex-husband Artyom Chekalinykh, and criticized MP Vitaly Milonov's offensive remarks about women. She urged Putin to create a platform in the messenger Max for direct communication with the people, emphasizing that "the government serves the people, but not the other way around."
Boni's appeal came amid a drop in Putin's ratings.
