The unit consists of two units with 4 sausages per unit.

Technoblogger addison2k created his own game controller out of sausages and demonstrated its effectiveness while playing WoW, writes itc.ua.

The device consists of two blocks, including 4 sausages each. The left block controls movement and the right block activates abilities. The blogger has released a demonstration video showing how his controller works.

The gamer explains that he had previously used a single sausage when trying to combine outdoor recreation with gaming. However, he felt that he was being devious as he added a gamepad to the sausage. So he decided to use a 3D printer to create a pair of blocks, in which he placed 4 sausages each. Each of the blocks was connected by a separate cable. A separate wire was also connected to each sausage.

After connecting the addison2k customized both controllers, which showed no malfunctions and worked as it should. The gamer was frankly delighted, noting that he was playing WoW with the help of sausages. However, this control turned out to be absolutely not ideal.

In particular, the developer complained about the lack of camera control and the inability to dodge enemy attacks. After about 3 minutes, addison2k admitted that he had to use the keyboard a few times. He explained that the scope was stuck on a dead NPS, and he had not provided a Tab key compatible with controllers.

Also, after a while the sausages started to get hot. Prolonged use of such a homemade controller probably hides other shortcomings. For those wishing to replicate this crazy trick, addison2k noted that he used Oscar Mayer brand sausages. He also made public the source files needed for 3D printing at MakerWorld. He also asked for feedback if anyone was able to improve the design of his sausage controller.
