According to Belhydromet, Monday, April 20, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected in Belarus. In the afternoon, the air will warm up to +8...+14°C.

At the same time, the authors of Telegram channel "Meteoweib" report about the approach of the vast anticyclone "Ulli," which will determine the weather in the country for the next three days.

They predict that no significant precipitation is not expected, but April 20-21, short-term rains with a mixture of snowdrops are possible in the southeast. In the night hours due to low cloudiness and cool air from Northern Europe, frosts are predicted in most parts of the territory.

Snowdrop is a type of solid precipitation in the form of small white balls of snow and ice up to 5 mm in diameter. It is formed when snowflakes pass through supercooled water droplets and are covered with a loose ice shell. Such precipitation most often occurs during unstable weather during the cold season and may be accompanied by gusty winds. Unlike hail, snowdrops are softer, smaller in size and easily crumbled.
