Video Fact: GSD Hit Two Large Landing Ships Of The Russian Federation

On the night of April 18-19, fighters of the special unit of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Directorate "Ghosts" struck two large Russian airborne ships in temporarily occupied Crimea. We are talking about VDK projects 775 "Yamal" and 1171 "Nikolai Filchenkov".

"At the time of the strike, the enemy ships belonging to the Russian Black Sea Fleet were in Sevastopol Bay," the GSD said in Telegram.

The intelligence agency specified that the Yamal is a Project 775 ship built in 1988. Its length is 112.5 meters and its cargo capacity is up to 500 tons, including armored vehicles and paratroopers. The estimated cost is more than $80 million.

"Nikolai Filchenkov" is a Project 1171 landing ship built in 1975, capable of carrying up to 1,000 tons of cargo, including dozens of armored vehicles and a large landing force. Its value is estimated at more than 70 million dollars.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, both ships were disabled as a result of the attack.

In addition, the Podlyot-K1 radar station in Sevastopol was destroyed, with an estimated value of about 5 million dollars.
