Attempts Of Illegal Migration From Belarus To The EU Grow For The Third Week In A Row

There were nearly 700 such attempts last week.

Belarusian sociological group write that for the third week in a row the number of migrants trying to get to the European Union countries from Belarus has increased. Most of all such attempts are observed in the Belarusian-Latvian direction.

These weeks are breaking records.

If in the last week of March, there were just over 150 such attempts, then during the first week of April - more than 400, then - almost 500. And last week - almost 700.

This growth is primarily due to the Belarusian-Latvian direction: the number of illegal attempts to cross the border has increased almost six times in three weeks.
