As well as a new package of sanctions against Russia.

Ambassadors of the European Union countries at a meeting on April 22 approved the allocation of 90 billion euros in funding to Ukraine and also agreed on the 20th package of sanctions against Russia. This was reported by a representative of the Cyprus EU Presidency, "Interfax-Ukraine".

According to him, at the level of the Committee of Permanent Representatives the latest amendments to the EU's multi-year financial policy regulations were approved, which are necessary to launch a mechanism for granting Ukraine a loan for the specified amount.

He noted that both decisions - financial aid and a new package of sanctions - were approved by the ambassadors and must now undergo a written procedure of approval by the EU Council, which will be held on April 22. He pushed for the reopening of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which was damaged in a Russian attack in January. Hungary and Slovakia used this route to receive Russian oil.
