Macron Calls EU Loan To Ukraine An Important Signal Of Determination

The European Union has started a written procedure to approve a 90 billion euro loan for Kiev.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that the European Union's decision to grant Ukraine a loan is an important signal of support and continued joint cooperation.
This is stated in his post on social network X.
The French leader's statements came against the background of the EU's adoption of a new financial aid package for Ukraine and increased sanctions pressure on Russia.
Macron emphasized that the loan for Ukraine demonstrates the European Union's long-term commitment to supporting Kiev. He also noted the adoption of the 20th package of sanctions against Russia as an additional tool of pressure.
The French president emphasized that European support has not waned and remains stable despite the protracted war.
"I welcome the EU loan to Ukraine, which is a very strong signal of our determination to continue cooperation with Ukraine," Emmanuel Macron said.
