Locals reported numerous explosions.
On the night of April 28, drones once again attacked Russia's Krasnodar region, where Tuapse, where the Russians have only recently put out a fire after previous massive strikes, was under attack.
Preliminary information suggests that the local port's marine terminal and oil refinery could again be under drone attack in Tuapse this night. This is reported by OSINT analysts.
"Tuapse... The sea terminal and refinery are under attack by UAVs again, there are a few hits but no arson. Over the sea is actively working air defense," - wrote monitoring channels.
A few minutes later, however, the network reported that the fire after the "arrivals" in Tuapse did rise. Images from the scene of the attack spread in Telegram channels.
According to analysts, two oil product tanks in Tuapse first caught fire. However, after a while eyewitnesses specified that at least four tanks were burning.
Russian media reports that Tuapse was under drone attack for at least 2 hours. Eyewitnesses have already counted at least 10 explosions, and bright flashes are periodically seen in the sky and sounds of engines can be heard.
Before this, an air alert was declared throughout the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation due to the drone threat. The airports of Krasnodar, Gelendzhik and Sochi imposed restrictions on landing and departure of airplanes.
Official information about the consequences of the attack on Tuapse was not available at the time of publication.
