A drone-like object was found on the roof of a high-rise building in the central district of Moldova's capital, Chisinau.

This reports the Moldovan police.

"This evening, the police received a call from a citizen who reported the discovery of a drone-like object in the central district of the capital. At the scene arrived specialists of the explosives department, who guarded the area," - stated in the police report.

It is noted that for safety reasons, residents of the upper floors of the apartment building were temporarily evacuated until the inspection and removal of the object.

Preliminary information, the object was damaged after hitting the roof of the house. It will be examined in detail by experts.

"Police continue to take measures to establish all the circumstances of the case," the Moldovan police added.
