The strike came more than 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine has hit a strategic oil pumping station near the Russian city of Perm more than 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine.

The SBU reports.

"This night, specialists from the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center worked on the Perm Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPDS), which is located more than 1,500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine," the SBU said.

It is noted that the station belongs to Transneft JSC and is a strategically important hub of the main oil transportation system of the Russian Federation. Through the station oil is distributed in four directions, including the Perm refinery.

It is known that as a result of the SBU drone attack on the oil pumping station there was a large-scale fire. According to preliminary information, almost all oil storage tanks are burning.

"The SBU is systemically reducing Russia's export potential and undermining its economic base, from which the war against Ukraine is financed. The defeat of oil logistics creates a shortage of resources and disrupts fuel supply chains for the army," acting SBU Chairman Yevgeniy Khmara said.
