An indirect confirmation of this version has appeared.
Polish journalist Jarek Jakimczyk suggested that the fifth spy whom Warsaw extradited to Russia during yesterday's exchange at the Belarusian border could have been Kazakhstan's assistant military attaché in Kiev Anuar Kairatuly Bakibai, who spied for Russia.
"Among the countries involved in the negotiations on prisoner exchange, Radoslav Sikorski mentioned Kazakhstan," he wrote. - Does this mean that among those released in exchange for Andrzej Poczobut was Anuar Kairatuly Bakibai, Kazakhstan's deputy military attaché in Kiev, arrested in Poland on espionage charges?"
A Kazakh military diplomat was detained by the Anti-Terrorist Bureau on July 30 last year in Bydgoszcz, the journalist recalls.
"According to Kazakh opposition-linked media, he spied for Russia against Poland, NATO and Ukraine. However, in the latter country he was protected by diplomatic immunity during the term of accreditation, which was to expire only in April 2027"," writes Jarek Yakimchik
Today, an indirect confirmation of this version appeared - Lukashenko received a phone call from the president of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. He invited the Belarusian dictator to Astana.
It should be noted that yesterday Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that seven countries - Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Moldova, Poland and the United States - were involved in the preparation of the exchange of Russian and Belarusian spies for political prisoners.
