Two Large Chemical Plants Are Burning At Once In The Russian City Of Togliatti

On the night of April 4, a series of explosions and a fire went up in the Russian city of Togliatti in Russia's Samara region. Two Russian chemical production facilities came under attack at once, writes "Focus".

According to unconfirmed information so far, drones hit the plants "Togliattikauchuk" and "KuibyshevAzot". This was reported by OSINT-analysts.

"Togliatti, under attack two plants - "Togliattikauchuk" and "KuibyshevAzot", - stated in the report.

Analysts also write that the enterprise "Togliattikauchuk" attacked at least 7 drones. A large-scale fire has risen at the site of the strike, footage of which is being circulated online.

Russian Telegram channels reported the attack on Togliatti at around 02:00 hours. It was noted that in different parts of the city they heard the sounds of explosions, the rumble of engines in the sky, and also saw bright flashes. Eyewitnesses wrote that smoke could be seen after several explosions.

Before that, at Samara airport, Rosaviatsia imposed restrictions on landing and departure of airplanes, introducing the "Cover" plan. Local authorities announced the threat of drones in the region.

Official information about the defeat of the above-mentioned objects has not been received.

It should be noted that the plant "Togliattikauchuk" is one of the largest enterprises of the petrochemical complex of the Samara region. The plant produces rubber of four grades, hydrocarbon fractions, organic synthesis products, additives for automobile gasoline. The main products of the plant are synthetic rubbers, which are raw materials for tires and a wide range of rubber products.

The official website of the production facility states that the plant provides a fourth of the entire Russian market with its products.
