Russia In A Trap: Zakharova Faltered

The Russian Foreign Ministry complained about the "exhausting battle" on three fronts.

The Russian Foreign Ministry complained about the "war on three fronts."

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said this at the All-Russian Media Forum "UNCOR" at the National Center "Russia", Charter97.org reports with reference to the Russian media.

The Russian top brass is increasingly forced to publicly admit that the full-scale war it has unleashed against Ukraine has turned into a strategic trap.

For example, Maria Zakharova began complaining about the difficulties, voicing that Russia is fighting a grueling battle on three fronts simultaneously: military, economic and information.

"We are fighting on three fronts. On one front we have one armed conflict, a battle. On another front, there is an economic battle, because there is a trade war against our country. There is also an information front," the "diplomat" said.

These words sounded like an indirect confirmation that Moscow's resources are not unlimited. You bet, each of the "fronts" named by Zakharova is a direct consequence of the Kremlin's aggression:

Armed conflict: the occupation forces continue to burn reserves in Ukraine, meeting heroic resistance from the AFU.

Economic battle: the "trade war" the diplomat complains about is a noose of international sanctions that is slowly but surely destroying Russian industry.

Information front: the Kremlin has finally lost the battle for a global audience, finding itself in a vacuum of its own fakes and propaganda.

Similar rhetoric may be aimed at justifying new waves of mobilization and falling living standards for Russians. It is obvious that Zakharova is trying to portray her country as a "victim," even though it is Russia's actions that have led to the country's complete international isolation.
