Iran Struck The Headquarters Of Kuwait's Oil Giant With Drones

  • 5.04.2026, 9:37

The extent of the impact has become known.

The headquarters of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation caught fire in Kuwait after an Iranian drone strike in a new wave of Iranian attacks on Gulf energy infrastructure.

According to Bloomberg.

The attack occurred around 2 a.m. local time. According to KPC, not only the company's main building was hit, but also the premises where the Emirati Oil Ministry is located.

Personnel were urgently evacuated and numerous firefighting teams were working on the site.

Consistent Aggression: from refineries to airports

This incident was another in a series of attacks by Iran on its neighbors.

Really, the following have been subjected to massive attacks recently:

the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah oil refineries;

Kuwait's international airport;

the infrastructure of PIC (a fertilizer and polymer producer).

Now the Kuwaiti oil sector leadership is coordinating with relevant agencies to assess the damage and ensure the safety of critical infrastructure.

It should be noted that the attack on Kuwait took place just a few hours after Iran's Fars news agency published an updated "list of targets". It included not only oil and gas assets, but also water and power supply facilities in the Persian Gulf countries.

Tehran's aggressive rhetoric was a response to the recent Israeli Air Force airstrike on the Makhshahr petrochemical complex in Iran earlier in the day. The region is actually in a state of open "energy war" where oil infrastructure has become the main hostage of the geopolitical confrontation.
