Forbes: Kremlin Builds Bases In Belarus To Control Drones

The Kremlin plans to erect four military facilities.

Russia is trying to strengthen attacks with attack drones in its war against Ukraine. For this purpose, the construction of bases for ground control of long-range drones has begun in Belarus.

This is reported by Forbes.

The location of these military facilities in Belarus will allow the Russian Federation to significantly reduce the time of approach to Ukrainian cities, which will make it more difficult for air defense systems to repel attacks.

Now enemy drones are mostly launched from the territory of the Russian Federation, which gives time for preparation.

According to a Reuters report, the Kremlin plans to erect four ground control stations for drones in Belarus.

The president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky warned of such intentions of the Kremlin earlier. In his X account, he said Belarus was "becoming more and more involved in Russia's war" and that Europeans should be on guard.
