On Donbass, Zelensky explained, "We cannot discuss just ceding Donbass. If we leave Donbass to the Russians, they will take our most protected positions without any losses. It may take a year or a year and a half to build new lines of fortifications. They will be able to attack Kharkiv and other cities that contribute a lot to our GDP. This will cause a division in society. And any division is Putin's key goal and the death of our independence."

Touching on the issue of security guarantees, Zelensky expressed concern about a possible repeat offensive by the Russian Federation in a few years.
