What does getting on the Ukrainian sanctions lists mean for Belarusian companies?

- There is no such mechanism to unify all the sanctions. But we will convince our partners in the West, relying on our lists. In turn, they definitely pay attention to our sanctions list, but it is not decisive for them.
- Similarly, Ukraine also takes into account the European lists. And the lists themselves can be different. For example, the EU, the US, and the UK imposed sanctions against Putin in February 2022, while Ukraine did so only in June. That is, the variants of the sanctions lists can be different.
- What does it mean for Belarusian enterprises to be included in the Ukrainian sanctions lists?
- It means that we give them a "black mark" for cooperation with Russia.
It is clear that Ukraine itself does not cooperate with these enterprises. But now it will also look at counterparties, at companies from the EU, for example, Polish or Lithuanian, which may cooperate with some of them.
We can only consider any consequences in the future on the sanctions lists after the Russian-Ukrainian war is stopped or suspended.
- And for Lukashenko's sons, what does Ukraine's imposition of sanctions against them mean?"
- They and their associated businesses will not take part in Ukraine's reconstruction. It is politically pointed out to them that they have made their choice.
